The 6th of March will see a truly special car go under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions in NEC Birmingham. The car in question is a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo which is believed to be the last ever model to roll of the Sant'Agata production line. This is also the last Diablo made before Volkswagen took over and was imported to the UK.
The V12 SV comes in what Silverstone Auctions suspect is a unique pearl red/orange which is topped off by a grey/back interior. The car has covered around 32,000 miles and is in original condition. The car has had a helping hand in the way of a chassis and suspension restoration in 2013. There are no worries about it being road legal either as the car was serviced and MOT'd last month.
At this point, you may be asking how much? Well, you're in luck because I can answer that burning question. It's estimated at £150,000-£170,000 so it will set you back a bit but if you have the money, I'm sure it would be worth every penny. However, I think this will sell for more than that, it has to surely?! It will be interesting to see how this auction develops...
