Bond's Motor Sold

Last night saw the superb Aston Martin DB10 go under the hammer, fetching a larg sum of £2,434,500 at Christie's. Despite the high price the owner should be very pleased with their purchase as this is the only DB10 that has been made available for public sale. The DB10 was made for the James Bond film Spectre and 10 models were produced, 8 had filming modifications and 2 were kept back for display purposes. The one sold last night was one of the display models amongst other James Bond Spectre - The Live Auction which included 10 unique lots.

The auction raised a total of £2,785,500 and will go towards Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) who a global aid organisation who provide medical care to victims of armed conflict, epidemics and other disasters.

Spectre comes out on Blu-ray and DVD on the 22nd of February and I must say I cannot wait as I'm a big fan of Bond!
