Maserati have released pictures of their first ever SUV which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. It is called the 'Levante' and features an aggresive front end which looks like it is ready for battle. Just as well as the SUV market has become increasingly popular, with SEAT also producing their first SUV. It's a sign of the times so it's clear that Maserati want a piece of the action. Other styling cues that make it clear this is a Maserati are the 3 air vents on the front wing which I think look superb on the Quattoporte and the windows will be frameless.
All show and no go? Maserati say that the Levante will combine the outstanding on-road performance of every Maserati with excellent off-road performance and ride. I doubt this car will see much mud though to be honest, I would certainly think twice before taking this luxury motor on to the dirt. Rest assured though it will have the equipment required to tackle the outdoors; the Levante will feature electric suspension which will have many settings, Q4 intelligent four wheel drive and a 8 speed auto gearbox that has been set up specifically for the Levante.
