For those who don't know, VUHL are a Mexican sportscar brand, the VUHL stands for 'Vehicles of Ultra-Lightweight and High Performance'. Hang on, should that not be VULHP? Pedantry aside, VUHL debuted it's first model at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed and will be now be showcasing their next model, the VUHL 05 at the London Motor Show.
It may not have a name that sets the pulses racing but maybe the performance stats will make up for that. It will have Ford's 2.0 litre EcoBoost engine which may not sound overly impressive but when you bear in mind that will give it a power-to-weight ratio of 410 per ton. That means it has around the same power per ton as a Lamborghini Huracan!!! It will hit 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and will continue to a top speed of over 150 mph.
Other features of the 05 are a 6 speed manual gearbox which also supplied by Ford, carbon fibre seats with water resistant trim, built in HD camera and a suede covered quick release steering wheel. The car will be priced at £59,995 which quite a lot, considering you don't get doors, a roof or even a windscreen!
The car will available to view at the London Motor Show which will take place in May this year.
