Yes, you read that headline right. A one-legged man was caught doing almost 200 mph in Spain which has set a new speeding record. The man clocked up these speeds on the R-4 motorway after taking the car for a test drive.
He was caught by a police radar gun at speeds of 183 mph, despite having one leg and a restriction that limited him to speeds of 62 mph because of this. He is also only able to drive a specially adapted car, a far cry from the Audi R8 the 36 year old was blitzing down the Spanish motorway. He was fined 3,600 euros (£2,369) and has been banned from driving for a year. That was a rather costly test drive then...
