Who Needs Car Rental When You Have These?

When most people go away they will rely on public transport to get around or they may hire a car, allowing them more freedom. But this is simply not enough for a Saudi billionaire (unnamed) who decided to ship not one, not two, but FOUR cars. They all featured a gold chrome wrap - thought to cost around £4,000 - and included a Mercedes G63, Bentley Flying Spur, Rolls-Royce Phantom and a Lamborghini Aventador - as if that wasn't enough!

They were spotted outside the Mandarin Oriental hotel near Hyde Park before making their way through Kensington. This signals the the start of the supercar season, in which Arabs come over to UK and cruise around the Cit of London in their exotic cars. I'd like to think of it as 'Boaster's Roadshow' as I'm sure they will look to outdo each other. I have to say this fella has the set the bar pretty high, you will struggle to miss those shiny gold cars cruising amongst the black, grey and white sea of cars we are used to seeing.

However, their fun may be ruined as the Royal Borough of Kensington introduced a Public Spaces Protection Order following complaints from residents about the excessive noise and general annoyance. This means that the super-rich supercar drivers will not be able to rev their engines, accelerate rapidly, honk their horns, cause and obstruction and leave their engine running for a prolonged time when stationary. Drivers that do not adhere to these rules they will be face a maximum fine of £1,000, which let's face it, is loose change.
