A video has emerged of a woman in Salisbury, Wiltshire who attacked a red hatchback and then was left clutching on as the car drove off. Seriously, you couldn't make some of these stories up...
The brunette can be seen on the roof of the Peugeot 106 before she leans forward to attacks the windscreen wipers as she tries to rip them off. The 22-year-old holds its own though, with the woman unable to rip them off. This is all unfolding as the driver is in the car by the way! She then changed tact by attacking the roof with her fists before stamping on it. If you can look closely you can see the dents she has made in the roof.
Content with her work she has done to the roof, she moves back to wipers in a second bid to destroy them. Once again, she is foiled by them and decides to stand up and stamp on the car once more. By this stage the driver has clearly had enough and decides to drive off with the female still on-board. You can see her clinging for dear life as the car moves away, causing an oncoming car to mount the kerb in the process. The woman rolled of the car and suffered minor injuries. The police were called to the scene and it is being treated as domestic incident.
A Wiltshire police spokesman said: "We were called to an incident on Waterloo Road around 7.30pm where a woman was reported to be jumping on a car roof.
"The incident was dealt with and no further action was taken.
"It was an altercation between two people who are believed to be known to each other."
