Swedish car maker's fastest car ever made is now available, producing 367 bhp, thanks to performance engineers Polestar. Prices are yet to be confirmed but deliveries are expected to come in the last quarter of this year.
Fastest Ever Volvo
As mentioned above, this is the fastest Volvo that the Swedish firm have released, boasting an very impressive 367 bhp. This means it will hit 0-62 in just 4.8 seconds and will hit a limited top speed of 155 mph thanks to a enhanced version of Volvo's four cylinder Drive-E engine. The engine will be mated to an eight speed automatic, with BorgWarner four-wheel drive system helping get the power on the road,
The V60 Polestar is 20kg lighter than it's previous version too, which will help the new model will offer better handling and braking. It's not all about speed you know! This model also signals the globalisation of the Polestar brand after they launched its first road legal cars to a limited audience in 2014. The V60 Polestar uses the same base chassis and engine as the S60 Polestar TC1 WTCC racecar so it can boast racing credentials as well as the title of Volvo's fastest ever car.
