Jeremy Clarkson seems to have got himself in a bit of bother whilst filming for the upcoming show featuring himself, Richard Hammond and James May on Amazon Prime. The outspoken presenter tweeted a picture of himself covered in dirt and with a bloodied nose. The picture had the caption "I survived the day. Just."
Unfortunately we will have to wait to find out what exactly happened, but Clarkson had stated that he was taking part in his most dangerous stunt yet and even tweeted “This may well be a goodbye.” He came out alive though - albeit injured - to fight another day. Clarkson had been accused of applying make up to get the desired result by one his followers but he responded: “You're going to feel silly when you see the show. It so isn't make-up.”
Richard Hammond, who was seriously injured when filming for Top Gear in 2006, tweeted a picture of him with what looked to be a gramophone, tweeted "Unlike m'colleague, our shoot this week never put my life in danger. But it was bloody unusual."
Clarkson also tweeted "My first time in A man. It hurt, but I liked it" but then followed it up later by stating "Small typo last night. When I said I'd been in "a man", I meant Amman. Apologies." Clarkson showing his usual brand of sense of humour or a genuine mistake? Knowing Clarkson it's probably the former.
The new show, still yet to be named will come to Amazon Prime this autumn.
