Wealthy Boss Takes Supercars On Mountain Road

Now, most people that have an expensive supercar can be very careful with it and for good reason. But not these chaps in China who decided to drive their supercars through rugged terrain.

A wealthy boss from China, Ni Haishan invited his top ten salesman to a trip on one of the world's most dangerous roads, which sounds daunting enough, but even more daunting when they are doing it in supercars. The boss had even given his employees Maserati Ghiblis prior to the trip for all their hard work.

They embarked in their Maseratis on the 1,294 mile long Sichuan-Tibet road, with the boss taking his Ferrari F12, which was just as much out of place, if not more. Haishan posted pictured of the daring trip of social media, highlighting the damage that had come to the cars and as you can imagine the sympathy was at all time low.

Five out of the ten Maseratis hit problems as they suffered damage to the tyres and the chassis after being driven on the uneven mountain roads. The cars then had to be towed to the nearest garage for repairs. But don't think the boss got away scot-free as his F12 was also damaged, with the tyres receiving the brunt of the trip.

Haishan had been also been accused on social media of purposely flauting his wealth which he did not disagree with. He said: "What’s the problem with showing off your wealth when you’re rich?"

He then added: "If I didn’t do so, people would think our business is doing poorly.

"People want to follow those who have a fortune, because they think they will also earn a lot of money by following you."

Each to their own I suppose...
