A special gold BAC Mono will play the starring role in this year's Gumball 300 Rally that starts in Dublin on the 1st of May.
The single-seater will help open the race and will take part in the start-line parade. It will also been at various stages along the way and fans will get to see the special supercar up close. Gumball founder Maximillion Cooper will be behind the wheel as well as a group of select drivers.
After Dublin, the car will head to London where it will part of the parade on Regent Street where it will go through the capital with some of the finest examples of supercar. After London the Mono will go to Budapest, where it will participate in a track day at Hungaroring on the 5th of May.
The Mono will also be involved in closing the event and there will be a charity auction to win a once in a lifetime experience with the British built racer around a UK racetrack of the winner's choice. They will spend the track day under the supervision of BAC test driver Oliver Webb who will provide coaching.
Last but not least, the winner will be able to take home the on-board video footage and photos taken fro the day, plus they will get a tour around the BAC factory in Liverpool. I think it's fair to say that this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm starting to get envious just thinking about it!
Gumball 3000 founder Maximillion Cooper said: “I’m a big supporter of British brands and BAC is one of the coolest automotive companies out there. The Mono supercar looks stunning and I can’t wait to have a go!
“It is also fantastic that BAC have donated such an exclusive experience for the Gumball 3000 Foundation, and I'm confident it will prove really popular come the charity auction, especially after the car has been on show throughout Gumball 3000 this year.”
