We all like receiving new things, it's always an exciting time, especially when it's a car. But imagine if it was a McLaren 650S, a car with a top speed of 204 mph.
Well it seems that the owners of this 650S got a bit too excited and after just a few moments of getting the new car delivered it was crashed. Ouch. Thankfully the car's occupants - thought to be the father and son - were unhurt but the crash is sure to hurt the wallet. This British supercar costs £215,000 so far from a cheap car.
Champagne was uncorked when the car was delivered but it was premature as the car was left heavily damaged after leaving the road and making contact with a tree. Witness Diane Evans was first on the scene when the crash occurred on the 27th of April in Hutton, Essex.
She commented: “The damage was shocking.” She said the owners lived nearby and had been seen taking delivery of the car.

“You have to have a lot of money to buy a car of that value, but to crash it 10 minutes later is just crazy. They must have been gutted.”
Well I'm sure that comment will make the owner feel much better. If that wasn't bad enough, a man - thought to be the driver - has been reported for careless driving and will be getting a summons to appear at court. So if you are getting a new car in the near future just let this be a lesson. Not that I anticipate you taking a delivery of a brand new McLaren, but you know... just be careful.
