Mini Census - What Is Yours Called?

Organisers of the UK's biggest Mini show, Mini World Live have launched the world's first Mini census in preparation for this year's show which takes place on July the 10th. The venue for this large collection of Minis is the Rockingham Motor Speedway and joining the cars will be a festival atmosphere with live music.

Whether you prefer the modern Mini or the iconic classic, there is no doubt that both have a huge amount of personality. The census aims to find out whether owners refer to their car as male or female and what the gender split is. Other information it hopes to gather is where they live, the average age of owners and of course what the most popular Mini names are.

Event Manager Kat Chappell said: “Minis and the people that drive them always have plenty of character and we know that a lot of them are much more than just a car to their owners. We want to celebrate this by finding the most popular, as well as some of the more unusual names that people give to their Minis.”

As well as offering a large collection of Minis old and new, Mini World Live will also feature track action, a concours competition and there will be a chance to win a Mini thanks to specialist insurance company Carole Nash.

Details of the event can be found here and if you are a Mini owner and fancy filling out the census that can be found here.
