A one-off Ferrari 458 Speciale has been unveiled after taking to the Fiorano circuit where it was completing a shakedown. Ferrari chief test driver Dario Benuzzi - what a cool name - took the controls of the special edition, as well as the car's (lucky) British owner.
What's different?
The 458 MM Speciale sits on the same chassis as the 458 Speciale but changes have been made to the outside, some cosmetic, some for aerodynamic purposes. An Italian flag livery is one of the first things you'll notice on the Bianca Italia white model but look closer and you'll see the bodyshape has changed. The customer was looking for a sleek look so they asked that the car have a 'visor' effect, the 'A' pillar has been painted black which helps provide a wraparound look, thus making the glass look like one piece.
The 458 MM Speciale has all-new bodywork which has been made from aluminium and the front and rear bumpers are made from composite carbon fibre. The car also features a new side air scoop which makes provides one of the most distinctive elements of the aerodynamic changes. The car also features exclusive wheels and inside the cabin there is an improved audio system as well as Cioccolato leather upholstery.
Fancy one? Well you're out of luck
Like what you see? Well even if you had the money to have one you won't be able to lay your hands on one. As mentioned, the car is strictly one-off so all you can do is simply admire it and envy the lucky so-and-so that gets the enjoy the car whenever they want.
