Since the new Top Gear has started Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have been a little quiet. Maybe it's because they're blue in the face from having to stifle their laughs at Chris Evans' poor impression of Clarkson. The details of their new show is still a bit scarce but what we do know is that it's called The Grand Tour and their first destination will be Johannesburg.
In the downtime between filming Jeremy Clarkson took up the challenge to assemble a medium-sized DHL delivery box and did so in his usual clumsy, careless fashion. The clip is filmed by James May and was posted on his 'unemployment tube' YouTube channel earlier this week. Now this may not sound like the most thrilling of footage but the 4 minute clip actually provides a great deal of entertainment. It's like watching a monkey solve a Rubik's Cube.
Richard Hammond is also present and the clip really reminds you of their fantastic chemistry and banter. The fact they were able to make a rather boring and mundane task of assembling a box entertaining is a testament of what they are capable of. In typical Clarkson fashion he disappears in order to find a hammer, reminiscent of his time on Top Gear.
If you haven't seen the video yet you can view it below and chuckle away as the trio cock about in traditional (old)Top Gear fashion.
The Grand Tour will be available on Amazon Prime this autumn.
