The LaFerrari Goes Topless

It's difficult to think of ways to improve the Ferrari LaFerrari - well maybe the name - but the Italian brand has managed to find way to do it. Today Ferrari has revealed its first pictures of the convertible version of the LaFerrari and boy it looks good.

The limited edition will be aimed at those who want to enjoy the hybrid hypercar and the wind in their hair. It's just the photos that have been released - the name and the technical specifications will be announced at the Paris Motor Show later this year. Surely the name would simply be LaFerrari Spider or something though? Maybe they will call it LaFerrari LaSpider - I sure hope not though.

The details that have been announced state the new model will be available as either a soft top or a hard top with a carbon fibre removable roof. It will also have the same hybrid set up as the LaFerrari coupe with the same power output of 950bhp.

Changes have been made to chassis to ensure it has the same level rigidity as the coupe and the aerodynamics have been tweaked to ensure it's unchanged when the roof is down. What do you think of the topless LaFerrari? Better than the coupe or does the original still tick all the boxes for you?
