Far From Picture Perfect - Photographer Crashes Lambo

A hapless photographer had the day from hell after crashing a £152,995 Lamborghini Aventador SV in to exotic car showroom Amari in Preston. It is also thought that the crashed caused damage to two Ferraris inside the showroom - talk about adding insult to injury!

It's reported that the unnamed man was there for a photo-shoot and was in the process of moving it before losing control, sending the bright orange Lambo through the showroom window - smashing. In his defence, this is a very powerful car - it will hit 62mph in under 3 seconds and will hit a top speed of around 217mph.

No-one was hurt in the incident but an ambulance was called to assess the unfortunate snapper just as a precaution. One bystander stated the driver got in the ambulance with "his face buried in his hands as if to say 'What have I done?'"

Another bystander told the Lancashire Evening Post: "It had only just happened prior to me getting there. This Lamborghini was embedded in the front window.

"Everyone was in a state of shock. It looked like it had jumped over others inside the showroom and was a right mess. I've never seen anything like it."

Amari director Saba Syed declined to comment on the incident but described the even as a "minor incident". However, she did state, “There was absolutely no injury at all. An ambulance was called for the wellbeing of the driver.”
