It's fair to say the latest Focus RS is one of the most potent hot hatches around but for those of you who seek more performance you can now opt for a upgrade provided by Ford Performance and Moutune.
Mountune dials the RS up to 11
The standard Focus RS setup is pretty ample to say the least but this new upgrade dials the five door hot hatch to 11. It features a high-performance air filter, bespoke alloy crossover duct with high-performance silicone hoses, an upgraded air re-circulation valve and revised software tuning for the engine ECU.

But what does that all mean? Well it means an extra 25bhp and an extra 40Nm of torque. With the upgrade the Focus RS will be able to get to 0-62mph in just 4.5 seconds - that is the faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera with manual transmission which costs twice as much. The top speed remains the same although the 166mph top speed is bound to more than enough for pretty much everyone.
So the £899 upgrade certainly offers value for money and what's even better is the upgrade doesn't void the car's warranty and can be fitted in just 1.5 hours. Surely this seems like a no-brainer? That's if you can get your hands on a Focus RS in the first place though - over 4,600 orders have been placed in the UK and as you can imagine there is a bit of a wait.
