Both engines can either be mounted to a manual or DSG gearbox. The SE Sport also offers 17" 'Denom' alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, LED running lights plus LED rear lights.
Inside you'll find sports seats, a 'super sport' multi-function steering wheel and an automatic dimming rear view mirror. Other technology includes Amundsen satellite navigation system with Wi-Fi plus cruise control.
SE Technology
The SE Technology replaces the outgoing SE Business model but despite the extra kit it costs just £275 more. It comes with a choice of three diesel engines - ideal for company car users. It too comes with navigation with Wi-Fi as well as a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and front/rear parking sensors. Completing the specification is a Chrome pack plus a double-sided boot floor covering and light and rain sensors.
The three engines on offer include 1.6 TDI which produces 108bhp and can be mounted to either a manual or DSG gearbox. For those wanting a bit more power there is a 2.0 TDI which produces 148bhp and for the frugal ones there is a 1.6 litre TDI Greenline III which produces 90g/km of CO2 emissions with prices starting at £20,225.
