The GT-R is one of the most precise and calculated cars money can buy, but weirdly Jeremy Clarkson recently said it's one of the worst cars he has driven this year. it's unlikely he will like this one either, the GT-R Track Edition.
What's new?
The GT-R Track Edition will go above the Premium, Prestige and Black trim levels, but will sit below the fire-breathing NISMO version. Now, the standard GT-R is an accomplished car so it begs the question, how can it be made better? Well bespoke suspension from Bilstein has been installed to help improve cornering and a new lightweight ant-roll bar is also fitted to give better strength whilst reducing weight.
Black 20" alloys can be found on the Track Edition as well as a carbon spoiler, which is bound to get you some bragging points down the pub. UK customers will receive black and red Recaro seats whilst the exact specifications for other regions will vary. What you can guarantee will feature on every model is Track Edition badges and of course, the 3.8 litre twin-turbo V8 producing 562bhp.
The price? £91,995, which may seem like a fair chunk, but that's still cheaper than the supercar it's able to beat!
