Aston Martin has produced some wonderfully elegant and beautiful cars throughout the years - with the exception of the Lagonda - and the DB11 is no different. The new model is now in full production and is part of the brand's 'Second Century Plan'.
Here's looking at you kid
The DB11 is certainly a fine looking motor and thanks to its design it's won a fair bit of praise. The new coupé has now also won the 'Design of the Year' award at this year's T3 awards. The brand-new Aston climbed above the B&W Zeppeling Speaker, Hive Active Heating, the Olympus Pen-F camera, the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge after T3 readers deemed the DB11 to be the best.
It was features such as the front-hinging clamshell bonnet, distinctive LED headlights, the Aston Martin AEROBLADE and the roof that's flows from the A-pillar to the C-pillar uninterrupted. The DB11 is also the most efficient and powerful DB model that Aston Martin has made to date and I reckon it will definitely be a future classic.
After receiving the award, Aston Martin Creative Director of Exterior Design, Miles Nurnberger said: “Exceptional design and cutting edge technology lie at the heart of Aston Martin. We are extremely proud of the work that went into the design of DB11 so it is a real pleasure to accept this award.”
