Pure McLaren has launched a new driving experience but it's something that's a bit out of the ordinary. How? Well the experience will see attendees rocking up 200 miles in to the Artic Circle and this is the first ice driving experience McLaren offers with a Sports Series model - the 570S Coupé .
Pure Artic
The Pure McLaren Artic Experience has been designed to give drivers the chance to learn how to drive in challenging conditions and to help build confidence whilst under the care of professional McLaren driver coaches. Guests will be able to drive the 562bhp 570S Coupé on a mix of snowy and icy conditions on different track configurations.
The location for this snow-based driver training is winter testing facility 'Test World' which will give drivers the chance to their hone their skills without crashing in anything - like a bear, for example. This frozen playground is to be found in Ivalo, Finland so make thick clothing is a must!
Relax in style or seek further thrills, your choice
Pure McLaren has teamed up with local travel provider Luxury Action to ensure those that attend will be able to relax in style and comfort. However, if you fancy even more thrills there is also to take part in the Husky Safari and Snowmobile Expedition. If that isn't your cup of tea then you'll be able to make yourself comfortable in the Jávri Lodge, the former home of the Finnish president.
Hmm those grey chairs look rather comfy...
The price? Erm you may want to sit down for this. Go on, have a guess. Nope, not quite - it's £12,500 per person. Wowzers. This includes transfers, accomodation, winter clothing and of course the chance to be trained how to drive the 570S in tough conditions. It's a three night stay with dates ranging from the 15th of January to the 3rd of February 2017.
