British supercar brand McLaren has announced it will be producing five exclusive Design Editions of the 570S which have been chosen by McLaren's engineers and are available to order now.
What can you expect?
The five new themes build on the 'My McLaren' personalisation options by offering new combinations of colour, trim and finishes for the popular Sports Series model. The design featured in McLaren's press release is the rather fetching Design Edition 1. I know, the name's not exactly inspirational but the look certainly is.
This includes a a Vermillion Red paint finish which is complimented by a set of 5-spoke alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish, Stealth exhaust and red brake calipers. Inside the cabin you'll find black and read seats finished in leather and alcantara as well as a black and red leather dashboard, Slate Grey stitching and a dual colour steering wheel.
Nice wheels...
It's good value too. Well as good value as you can expect from a car like this. The design package represents a saving of £8,500 compared to if you were to buy all the personaliation options separately. That's not to say you can't add to the Design Editions - buyers can still to choose add further design options on as well adding their own options for carbon fibre trims.
Hmm, that's my kind of my interior...
Other colours to be included in the Design Editions include Onyx Black, Storm Grey, Ventura Orange and Silica White. All Design Editions are available to buy bow with deliveries coming next year. So which colour is it to be? I'll have the red please. Who am I kidding, I can't afford that!
