This week on Weekend Window Shopping I wanted something a bit more...obtainable. You know, something you may be able to actually afford without having to remortgage your house and sell body organs to drive.
Fresh of the boat
This should do the job quite nicely, a Honda Integra Type R that is fresh of the boat from Japan. So fresh in fact, that there is still some leftover sushi in the glovebox. No not really, that would stink. Finished in blue with Recaro seats of the same colour, this 2005 Integra Type R is powered by a high-revving 2.0 litre VTEC engine which offers 217bhp and 206Nm of torque.
I'm not normally one for white alloys but it looks good on the Integra. Source: Auto Trader/SDPP
It's mated to a six speed manual gearbox is able to propel this desirable JDM to 60mph in around 6.5 seconds and on to a top speed of around 150mph. But if that isn't to your liking I'm sure it won't be too difficult to tune so that it's able to make supercars wince when you meet them at the traffic lights.
I think black seats would have looked better, but I don't dislike the blue. Source: Auto Trader/SDPP
With 78,000 miles on the clock, it's clear this has been regularly used and I'm not sure how many of those miles were 'gentle' but the VTEC engine is pretty bulletproof so don't let that put you off. Plus it's Japanese, so it will be as reliable as the engine is revvy. Is revvy a word? I think I just made that up.

Anyway - it's on sale from SD Prestige and Performance for a price of £10,490 and for that you'll get blue Recaro seats, lightweight 17" alloy wheels, electric windows and mirrors, air con, original Type R mats and a great joy from driving it!
For more details head to Auto Trader or SD Prestige and Performance.
