Seeing as BMW M models have been a big focus for Car Obsession this week, I thought it only fitting that I include such a model on this week's WWS. I'd like to apologise that the site has been a little short on articles this week, I've spent a great deal of my time editing, so normal service should be resumed as of tomorrow.
That's a tidy profile... Source: Auto Trader/Hexagon
Right, back to the task in hand - Weekend Window Shopping. The BMW E46 M3 is arguably one of the greatest car of its time - the BMW E46 M3. This is a future classic and I reckon the value of these will only go up in value. So now could be a good time to snap one up and thankfully for you, Hexagon is able to offer you one at a cool £69,995.

Fitted with a 3.2 litre straight-six engine, this 2003 M3 CSL model is able to boast 360bhp. This engine is then mated to a SMG Drivelogic gearbox to give a limited top speed of 155mph and it'll get to 60mph in 5.2 seconds which is still pretty rapid by today's standard. It's lighter than the standard M3 as well - this means you'll have to go without luxuries like aircon, sat nav and electrically adjustable seats.

However the air conditioning could be retrofitted and you'll be glad to hear that it's been fitted to this model which has been painted in a wonderful black sapphire metallic. Body panels have been made using carbon fibre reinforced polymer to keep the weight down as well, the overall result was a car 110kg lighter than the standard M3.

This M3 has pretty low mileage as well - 37,700 miles have been clocked up since 2003 although I'm not too sure how many of them were gentle. If this is right up your street head to either Auto Trader or Hexagon for more details.
