This edition of cars and their owners brings a modded Nissan Silvia S14A that any boy (or girl) racer would be proud. It belongs to Gareth Field, one of the founders of car enthusiast group Surviving the Nightlife, the group famous for the 'Cobham Shutdown' earlier this year. As you will soon see, a lot of work has been done on this S14 so let's have a look what is under the Pearl White surface.

How long have you owned it and why did you buy it?
I have owned the car about a year and a half now. Bought it as the S14 I had already was a competition spec car and trying to insure it was next to impossible.
What work have you put into it?
Too much to list but it arrived in England standard and I have been throwing myself and money at it ever since I've owned it. The car was built to do a 1/4 mile in less than 10 seconds.
The inside is bare but purposeful
What do you like most about it?
It's a toss up between the wheels as the rears are custom built from Work Wheels Japan. Or the fact that it can spit HUGE flames when im showing off to people
What don't you like about it?
I love the colour but hate the fact that EVERYTHING shows up on the paintwork, So it gets cleans a ridicules amount of times.
What is your most memorable drive?
In this car that's easy! The most memorable drive by far was when I was finally allowed to use all the power the car had after its reforge. I spent hundreds and hundreds of miles not going over 3000RPM so when I finally had the chance to abuse the engine I did...... £100 in fuel later I had a dead arse and needed to get to sleep.
What will you buy next?
My next purchase will be some Nitrous fittings as I am cleaning up the Solenoids etc around the Manifold so it looks a bit more presentable.
A Nissan under a Concorde - why the hell not?
